As agentic systems accelerate publishing, the defensible work is no longer only the article. It is the evidence path behind it.
A public intelligence site has to make that path visible enough for humans to review and stable enough for machines to reproduce. Drafts, archive references, media, authorship, and release state all become part of the editorial object.
That is why the newsroom workflow is moving toward release readiness checks. The platform should block approved content when the basics are missing: an author, a real body, a public image, a topic, and a deployable state.
The result is a slower button but a stronger publication system. Instead of asking whether a page rendered once, the workflow asks whether the page can be trusted, rebuilt, and audited after it leaves the CMS.
